Facebook Group to Email Funnel: A Simple Architecture
A good funnel is not “get the email, then send promotions.” It connects the reason someone joined the group with a useful next step and keeps that context as the relationship moves to email.
Entry: why are they joining?
Your first question should reveal the member’s context. That answer can become a lightweight segmentation signal later.
Exchange: what are you sending?
Offer one specific resource that matches the group’s promise. The clearer the exchange, the easier it is for a prospective member to make an informed choice.
Routing: where does the record go?
At low volume, a spreadsheet may be sufficient. At higher volume, a capture tool can preserve answers and an integration can route opted-in contacts into the right email list or CRM stage.
Follow-up: continue the same conversation
The first email should deliver what was promised. Later emails should stay close to the problem the member told you they care about. Relevance beats a generic broadcast sequence.
